Swim England National Open Water Festival 2017

The Festival will return to Rother Valley Country Park in 2017 for two days of competition, incorporating the National Open Water Masters Championships, the National Open Water Age Group Championships and amass participation event for swimmers of all abilities.

Dorset ASA & ASA SW Open Water Championships 2017

Online Entry Form https://goo.gl/forms/6IxIYcRn1ldiNd412 for this year’s ASA South West Region Open Water Championships on Saturday 24 June 2017 at Preston Beach, Weymouth DT4 7SX.

The event incorporates County Championships for Dorset ASA, Gloucester ASA, Somerset ASA and this year the Police Open Water Championships.

Registration opens at 9am.

Events: Male & Female 5km, 3km, 1,500m and a 750m Taster Event.
Entry fees £22 for each for 5km, 3km, 1,500m and £8.50 for the Taster Event.

However, it is likely there will be withdrawals so please sign up for the waiting list. When an entry becomes available the first person on the list will be given a chance to enter.

We’re making some improvements to the swim this year by teaming up with Race Timing Solutions and Lapio to provide chip timing with live results. This year, finishers will also receive a bespoke commemorative medal and the chance to win a raffle prize.

The 8th East Dorset Open Water SC Seahorse Swim will take place on 2 July 2017 near Knoll Beach, Studland by kind permission of the National Trust and in support of the Seahorse Trust. A new Facebook Group has launched for the Seahorse Swim. Please join, like and share the group to keep up with latest information on the event.
